Zach's Tractor Service

Hello. My name is Kevin Zachary and I live in Jackson County Mississippi. I bought a brand new Kubota MX5100 tractor recently for personal farm use on my land as well as my inlaws' land. I absolutely love working with my tractor and have about 5 years of experience doing tractor work. After buying my tractor I began trying to get some side jobs by using word of mouth and putting up a few flyers locally. So far I have landed a few jobs but I'm still searching and hoping for the opportunity to do a lot more. I bought a front-end loader and 70" tiller with the tractor and also have access to a bush-hog and finish-mower. I am a very professional, honest, and trustworthy person who believes in doing honest business and satisfactory work. Although I have the front-end loader, I'll be the first to admit I'm still a rookie with it. I'm mainly interested in doing bush-hogging, tilling, and finish-mowing work. My regular rate for bush-hogging, tilling, and finish-mowing is $35/hr with a 4hr minimum($140.00). Being that I'm a law enforcement officer and also a combat veteran(former U.S. ARMY), I offer a discounted rate of $5.00 off per hour for all full-time or retired law enforcement, fire, and military personnel(must show credentials/proof of full-time or retired service). So at the discounted rate, your minimum would start at $120.00 and $30 per each additional hour instead of $35 for each additional hour. My regular rate for the front-end loader is $70/hr with a 3hr minimum and $60/hr with a 3hr minimum for the discounted rate.  A small extra fuel charge may be considered for jobs done outside of Jackson County Mississippi based on distance.  Again, let me state for the record that I do not yet have an "official" business, meaning I'm not licensed and bonded. Until I get my name out there really good and start getting enough business to pay for insurance,etc...., and still be able to profit some from the jobs I do, I plan on keeping it simple by just doing a few jobs here and there on the side.
