F-250 diesel truck

I have a  F-250 diesel truck with the 7.3 liter engine in it that I use to pull my tractor to job sites.  It has 300000 miles on it, but still seems to run just fine.  On occasion I have noticed the water in fuel light come on for a few seconds then go back off.  Also the temp gauge seems to not move at all.  Should I be conserned about light or the temp gauge?
