Wooden Vise

I have always been intrigued with all wooden mechanisms.  I have been playing around with the Google Sketchup program and drew a wooden vise for a woodworking bench.  It is a rack and pinion setup so I had to draw up a jig to cut the gears.  I made a 2d version of the gears in AutoCad so I could just plot it out and paste it to my work piece making the gear cutting easier.  I have the AutoCad version if any one is interested.  Until I figure out how to upload it you will have to contact me using this site and I can email the autocad plan to you.

If I actually go through and build this thing I will upload pictures to this site showing my progress.
